An enduring and unshakeable foundation is furnished by reliance upon the LORD. The LORD Almighty safeguards and encompasses His people, both now and for all eternity. The wicked shall not perpetually maintain dominance over the inheritance of the righteous; this ensures the righteous are not compelled toward transgression. Extend Your beneficence, O LORD, to those whose hearts are morally sound and upright. Nevertheless, the LORD shall expel all malefactors, alongside those who stray into paths of deception. God is my shield, saving those whose hearts are pure. He is a righteous judge, a God whose indignation is ever-present. Let the wicked beware: if they do not repent, God prepares for judgment. He sharpens His sword and readies His bow, arming His arrows with fire. The wicked conceive evil, plotting trouble and giving birth to lies. They dig a pit, only to fall into the very hole they made. Their trouble returns upon them, and their violence lands on their own head. Therefore, I will give thanks to the LORD for His righteousness and sing praises to the name of the LORD Most High. The Blessings of the Godly Happy is the one who reveres the Lord and finds great joy in His commands. Their children will be mighty on the earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Prosperity and wealth reside in their house, and their righteous standing is eternal. For the upright—the compassionate, merciful, and just—light shines in the darkness. Blessed is the man who is merciful, who lends, and manages his affairs with integrity. Unwavering Trust Such individuals remain steadfast and will never falter; the remembrance of the upright endures eternally. They face adversity without dread, for their hearts are resolute, anchored in trust in the Lord. With an assured heart, they are fearless until they finally witness the defeat of their adversaries. Generosity and Esteem They freely give to the poor; their righteousness endures perpetually. They are held in high honor.
