Lord, you saw this; don't be silent. Don't be far from us, Lord. Wake up and stand up for us! Fight for us, our God and Lord. Justify us in your righteousness, Lord our God; don't let them rejoice in us. Don't let them think, “Aha, exactly what we wanted! " or say, "We have swallowed him up." May all those who rejoice in our distress to be put in shame and confusion; that all those who rise above us put on shame and disgrace. May those who rejoice in our justification cry out for joy and gladness; May they always say, "The Lord be exalted, who rejoices in the welfare of his servant.
